We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Remote Translator – Language Services to join our dynamic global team. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within St. Johann im Pongau, Austria. As a Remote Translator, you will be responsible for translating various types of content, including technical documents, marketing materials, legal texts, and website content, ensuring accuracy, cultural relevance, and adherence to specific client guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of at least two languages, exceptional linguistic skills, and a passion for clear and effective communication across cultures.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Translate diverse content types (e.g., technical, marketing, legal, medical, IT) from a source language into your native target language.
• Ensure linguistic accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and stylistic consistency in all translations.
• Adhere strictly to client-specific glossaries, style guides, and terminology.
• Utilize CAT tools (Computer-Assisted Translation) efficiently to maintain consistency and optimize workflow.
• Perform self-review and quality assurance checks on translated content.
• Collaborate effectively with project managers, linguists, and other team members.
• Manage multiple translation projects simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently.
• Continuously improve linguistic skills and subject matter expertise.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Native fluency in at least one target language (e.g., German, English, French, Spanish, Italian).
• Exceptional command of at least one source language.
• Proven experience as a professional translator.
• Proficiency with major CAT tools (e.g., Trados Studio, MemoQ, Memsource).
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written communication and grammar skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
