We are seeking a highly motivated Research Intern to join our team at the Herisau office. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to projects focused on language acquisition, educational methodologies, and cultural studies within an English-speaking institutional context. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in various stages of the research lifecycle, from data collection and analysis to report writing and presentation. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about education research and eager to make a tangible impact on global language learning.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist senior researchers in designing and executing research studies.
• Conduct literature reviews and synthesize findings relevant to ongoing projects.
• Collect and manage data using various quantitative and qualitative methods.
• Analyze research data using appropriate statistical or thematic analysis techniques.
• Contribute to the drafting of research reports, presentations, and academic papers.
• Prepare and organize research materials, including surveys, interview guides, and consent forms.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on research strategy and findings.
• Maintain accurate records of research activities and data.
• Support the development of new educational content based on research insights.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proficiency in English (native or near-native level).
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with basic research methodologies and data collection techniques.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Education, Linguistics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
