We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly accurate Transcriptionist to join our global team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere with a reliable internet connection. As a Transcriptionist, you will be responsible for converting audio and video recordings into written text, ensuring high levels of accuracy, grammar, and punctuation. You will work on diverse projects spanning various industries, contributing to our mission of facilitating seamless global communication. • Accurately transcribe audio and video files into written text.
• Review and edit transcribed documents for grammar, punctuation, and clarity.
• Ensure strict adherence to client-specific guidelines and formatting requirements.
• Manage workload efficiently to meet established deadlines and turnaround times.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of all client information and sensitive content.
• Utilize transcription software and tools effectively.
• Communicate proactively with project managers regarding any challenges or clarifications needed.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Native-level proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
• Exceptional listening skills and acute attention to detail.
• Excellent command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Proficiency in touch-typing with a minimum speed of 60 WPM (words per minute).
• Strong computer literacy and ability to work with various software applications.
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Previous experience as a professional transcriptionist.
• Familiarity with transcription software and tools (e.g., Express Scribe, F4/F5 Transcription).
• Experience with different audio types (e.g., interviews, focus groups, legal proceedings, medical dictations).
• Knowledge of style guides (e.g., Chicago, APA) is a plus.
• Ability to identify and transcribe multiple speakers accurately.
