Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transport Planner to join our dynamic team in Zurich Enge. This role focuses on delivering high-quality transport planning solutions for a variety of complex infrastructure projects across Switzerland and potentially wider Europe. You will play a crucial role in developing sustainable and innovative transport strategies, assessing impacts, and contributing to the design and delivery of major schemes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transport modeling, policy analysis, and an understanding of the Swiss regulatory framework.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Lead and contribute to transport planning projects, including feasibility studies, master planning, and impact assessments.
• Develop and apply transport models (strategic and micro-simulation) to analyze traffic flows, public transport usage, and pedestrian movements.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports, presentations, and proposals for clients and stakeholders.
• Liaise with clients, local authorities, and other project stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Contribute to business development activities, including bid preparation and client engagement.
• Mentor junior staff and promote best practices in transport planning.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and policy changes in the transport sector.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Master's degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in transport planning, preferably within a consultancy environment.
• Proficiency in transport modeling software (e.g., PTV Visum, Vissim, Emme).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Professional accreditation (e.g., CEng, MRTPI, or equivalent).
• Fluency in German or French (in addition to English).
• Experience with GIS tools (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS).
• Knowledge of sustainable transport principles and smart mobility solutions.
• Previous experience working on projects within Switzerland or Central Europe.
