Are you a motivated student with a passion for IT and logistics? DB Schenker in Plauen is looking for a proactive Werkstudent (Working Student) to join our Logistics IT team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic international environment, contributing to the optimization and maintenance of our critical logistics IT systems. We value your technical skills and eagerness to learn, and no German language skills are required for this role – English is our working language.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Support the IT team in maintaining and optimizing logistics software and hardware infrastructure.
• Assist with data analysis, report generation, and system troubleshooting.
• Contribute to the implementation and testing of new IT solutions and updates.
• Document IT processes, procedures, and system configurations.
• Provide first-level support for internal users regarding IT-related issues.
• Participate in ongoing IT projects, learning from experienced professionals.
• Collaborate with international teams on various logistics IT initiatives.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Currently enrolled as a student in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Informatics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
• Basic understanding of IT systems, networks, and software applications.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Initial experience with logistics software (e.g., WMS, TMS) or ERP systems.
• Basic knowledge of SQL or other scripting languages.
• Experience with IT support or system administration tasks.
