Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Operations Executive to lead our operational functions and drive efficiency across the organization. The COO will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the company, ensuring that all operations are streamlined, cost-effective, and aligned with our strategic goals. This pivotal role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in manufacturing or building materials, capable of optimizing processes, managing large teams, and contributing significantly to the company’s growth and profitability.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives and drive sustained growth.
• Oversee and optimize all operational processes, including manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and quality assurance, to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance for operational departments, ensuring fiscal responsibility and achievement of financial targets.
• Identify and implement new technologies and systems to enhance operational capabilities and competitiveness.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Collaborate closely with other executive team members to ensure seamless cross-functional coordination and strategic alignment.
• Drive initiatives for operational excellence, including lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in senior operational leadership roles, preferably within the manufacturing or building materials industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, process optimization, and large-scale project management.
• Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing complex budgets and P&L statements.
• Profound understanding of supply chain management, logistics, and quality control systems.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.

• Master of Business Administration (MBA) or an advanced degree in a relevant discipline.
• Experience with international operations and global supply chains.
• Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in German language is a plus.
