We are seeking an experienced and dynamic English Speaking Release Train Engineer (RTE) to join our team in Oldenburg. As an RTE, you will be a critical leader and facilitator of Agile Release Trains (ARTs), guiding multiple teams in delivering high-quality software solutions using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). This hybrid role requires a strong understanding of SAFe principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster collaboration across diverse, cross-functional teams. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth execution of Program Increments (PIs), identifying and resolving impediments, and continuously improving our agile processes.
Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Facilitate ART events and processes, including PI Planning, System Demos, Inspect & Adapt workshops, and Scrum of Scrums.
- Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in new mindsets and practices, ensuring adherence to SAFe principles.
- Drive relentless improvement through retrospectives and continuous learning.
- Manage and optimize the flow of value through the ART using various tools and techniques.
- Address and escalate impediments, manage risks, and help ensure dependencies are resolved.
- Foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous delivery.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Product Owners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on vision, roadmap, and execution.
- Support Release on Demand and facilitate value stream mapping to identify and eliminate waste.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization in English.
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten
- Proven experience as a Release Train Engineer or in a similar scaled agile leadership role.
- Deep understanding and practical application of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Strong facilitation and coaching skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site and remote collaboration.
- Fluent English language skills, both written and verbal.
Bevorzugte Qualifikationen
- SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification.
- Experience with large-scale software development and delivery.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in a consulting environment.
- German language skills are a plus, but not mandatory.
