The University of Bern is seeking a highly qualified and enthusiastic University Lecturer to join our esteemed faculty in Thun. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Develop and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Design and update course curricula, materials, and assessments in alignment with program objectives.
• Supervise student projects, dissertations, and theses, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
• Conduct office hours and provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
• Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and contribute to the broader academic community.
• Engage in continuous professional development and pedagogical innovation.
• Contribute to the administrative duties of the department as required.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Doctorate (PhD) in a relevant academic discipline.
• Proven experience in university-level teaching and curriculum development.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong commitment to student learning and academic excellence.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a diverse academic team.
• Fluency in English (additional proficiency in German or French is a strong asset).
