DHL Express Austria is seeking an English-speaking Logistics Assistant / Sorter to join our team in Leopoldstadt, Vienna. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Accurately sort incoming and outgoing packages and freight according to destination codes.
- Load and unload vehicles efficiently and safely, using appropriate equipment.
- Scan and record package information using handheld devices.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten
- Currently enrolled as a student in Vienna.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work reliably and punctually.
- Physical capability to lift and move packages (up to 25 kg) and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
Bevorzugte Qualifikationen
- Basic German language skills are a plus, but not required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (even short-term) is advantageous.
- Familiarity with scanning equipment or inventory management systems.
