We are seeking a highly innovative and detail-oriented AI Prompt Engineer to join our cutting-edge AI team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute to Google’s groundbreaking AI initiatives from anywhere. As an AI Prompt Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, testing, and refining prompts for large language models and other generative AI systems. Your expertise will directly influence the quality, accuracy, and ethical alignment of our AI outputs, driving the evolution of our products and services. You will work closely with AI researchers, software engineers, and product managers to translate complex requirements into effective prompt strategies, ensuring our AI models perform optimally across a wide range of applications.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Design, develop, and iterate on prompts for various AI models to achieve desired outputs and behaviors.
• Conduct extensive testing and evaluation of prompt performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
• Collaborate with AI researchers and engineers to understand model capabilities and limitations, informing prompt design.
• Develop and maintain best practices for prompt engineering, documentation, and version control.
• Analyze AI model responses for biases, inaccuracies, and inconsistencies, implementing prompt-based solutions.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in large language models, prompt engineering techniques, and ethical AI guidelines.
• Contribute to the development of internal tools and frameworks to streamline prompt creation and management.
• Communicate complex technical concepts and prompt strategies clearly to cross-functional teams.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proven experience in prompt engineering, natural language processing (NLP), or machine learning operations (MLOps).
• Strong understanding of large language models (LLMs) and their underlying architectures.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical ideas.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Demonstrated creativity in approaching complex language and reasoning challenges.
