Stellenbeschreibung
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Hybrid Autonomous Driving Engineer to join our dynamic R&D team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and integrating advanced autonomous driving systems for our next-generation agricultural machinery. You will work on a hybrid approach, combining traditional rule-based algorithms with state-of-the-art machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques to create robust, reliable, and safe autonomous solutions. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Design, develop, and implement algorithms for perception, localization, path planning, and control in autonomous agricultural vehicles.
- Integrate and test various sensor modalities (Lidar, Radar, Camera, GNSS, IMU) for environmental perception and fusion.
- Develop and evaluate hybrid autonomous driving solutions, leveraging both classical robotics and AI/ML approaches.
- Perform software development in C++ and Python for embedded systems and simulation environments.
- Conduct system-level testing, validation, and debugging of autonomous driving functionalities in simulation and on real hardware.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, mechanical engineers, and product managers.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in autonomous driving technology, machine learning, and robotics.
- Contribute to the architecture design and code review processes to ensure high-quality software.
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten
- Proficiency in C++ and Python programming.
- Strong understanding of robotics principles, including kinematics, dynamics, and control systems.
- Experience with sensor fusion techniques (e.g., Kalman Filters, Extended Kalman Filters).
- Familiarity with autonomous driving stacks (e.g., ROS, Apollo, Autoware).
- Solid knowledge of machine learning fundamentals and deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience with perception algorithms (object detection, segmentation, tracking).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Bevorzugte Qualifikationen
- PhD in a relevant field.
- Experience with functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 25119, ISO 13849).
- Prior experience in the automotive, off-highway, or agricultural machinery industry.
- Knowledge of GPU computing and optimization techniques (e.g., CUDA).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for data processing and model training.
- Proven track record of deploying autonomous systems in real-world applications.
