We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Hybrid NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) Engineer to join our innovative team in Graz. In this hybrid role, you will be instrumental in the development and optimization of advanced powertrain systems, focusing on NVH performance for both conventional and electrified vehicles. You will apply your expertise in NVH analysis, measurement, and simulation to ensure our products meet the highest standards of acoustic comfort and structural integrity. This position requires strong analytical skills, hands-on experience, and a collaborative spirit.
Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Perform NVH analysis, testing, and troubleshooting on hybrid and electric powertrains, sub-systems, and full vehicles.
- Develop and validate NVH targets for new product developments, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Utilize simulation tools (e.g., ABAQUS, ANSYS, AVL EXCITE) to predict and optimize NVH performance during the design phase.
- Conduct experimental NVH measurements using various sensors (accelerometers, microphones) and data acquisition systems.
- Analyze test data, identify root causes of NVH issues, and propose effective design and control solutions.
- Collaborate closely with design, calibration, and manufacturing teams to integrate NVH considerations throughout the product lifecycle.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation of NVH analyses and findings.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in NVH engineering for hybrid and electric vehicles.
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal communication).
- Strong understanding of NVH principles, including acoustics, vibration theory, and modal analysis.
- Hands-on experience with NVH testing equipment and data acquisition systems.
- Familiarity with NVH simulation software (e.g., ABAQUS, ANSYS, AVL EXCITE, LMS Virtual.Lab, Altair HyperWorks).
- Experience with powertrain systems, particularly hybrid and electric vehicle architectures.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and translate findings into actionable engineering solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
Bevorzugte Qualifikationen
- Experience with NVH specific post-processing tools (e.g., MATLAB, ArtemiS SUITE, HEAD Acoustics).
- Knowledge of NVH standards and regulations in the automotive industry.
- Experience in an automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier environment.
- Project management skills and ability to lead NVH-focused tasks.
- Understanding of electric motor and inverter NVH characteristics.
