Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly meticulous and experienced Proofreader / Editor who is a native English speaker to join our remote team. This role is crucial in ensuring the highest quality, accuracy, and linguistic integrity of diverse content for our global clients. You will be responsible for reviewing and refining a variety of materials, including marketing copy, technical documentation, website content, and more, to ensure it is free from errors, adheres to specified style guides, and maintains a consistent tone and voice. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with an international team.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Perform comprehensive proofreading and editing of English content across various industries and formats.
• Ensure accuracy in grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, and adherence to client-specific style guides (e.g., APA, Chicago, AP, brand-specific guidelines).
• Review content for clarity, conciseness, coherence, and overall readability.
• Verify factual accuracy, consistency in terminology, and proper formatting.
• Collaborate with project managers, writers, and other team members to provide constructive feedback and ensure content meets quality standards.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to strict deadlines.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of language trends, style guides, and proofreading best practices.

• Native English speaker with exceptional command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Proven experience in professional proofreading and editing.
