Stellenbeschreibung
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in Frankfurt. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and execution of test plans and cases for various automotive software and hardware components. This is an English-only environment, requiring excellent communication skills in English to collaborate effectively with international teams and document testing processes and results.
Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for software and hardware components.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and ensure testability.
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
- Monitor debugging process results.
- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
- Communicate effectively in English with international stakeholders regarding test status and issues.
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten
- Proven experience as a Test Engineer or similar role.
- Solid knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, as this is an English-only environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Bevorzugte Qualifikationen
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with performance and/or security testing.
- Knowledge of automotive industry standards (e.g., ISO 26262, ASPICE).
- Experience with specific test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Robot Framework).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
