Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a motivated and talented Werkstudent (working student) to join our Embedded Systems team in Eisenstadt. This is an excellent opportunity for a student pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, who has a passion for embedded systems and wants to gain hands-on experience in a leading semiconductor company. You will support our engineers in various stages of the development lifecycle, from concept to testing, focusing on embedded software and hardware integration. We value proactive individuals with a strong willingness to learn and excellent English communication skills.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist in the development, testing, and debugging of embedded software for microcontrollers and microprocessors.
• Support hardware-software integration and verification activities.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.
• Participate in design reviews and team meetings.
• Perform basic hardware setup and testing.
• Analyze and troubleshoot system issues under guidance.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers to understand project requirements and solutions.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proficiency in C/C++ programming language.
• Basic understanding of microcontrollers and embedded systems concepts.
• Familiarity with debugging tools and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Enrolled in a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree program (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics).

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, CAN).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Previous internship or project experience in embedded systems.
• Basic understanding of hardware schematics and datasheets.
