Are you passionate about fashion and looking to gain hands-on experience in merchandising? Zalando is seeking a motivated Werkstudent (working student) to join our Fashion Merchandising team in Halberstadt. This is a fantastic opportunity for students eager to dive into the world of e-commerce fashion, contribute to product assortment planning, and support our merchandising operations. Crucially, while based in Germany, this role requires no prior German language skills; our working language for this team is English. You will support the team in various tasks related to product lifecycle management, data analysis, and market trend research, playing a vital role in shaping our product offerings.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of sales data, inventory levels, and product performance.
• Support the merchandising team in managing product catalogs and ensuring data accuracy across platforms.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging fashion trends and consumer preferences.
• Help with the creation of product briefs and collaborate with cross-functional teams like buying, marketing, and supply chain.
• Participate in the planning and execution of seasonal product launches and promotional activities.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, all in English.
• Contribute to ad-hoc projects aimed at improving merchandising processes and strategies.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program related to Business, Fashion Management, Marketing, or a similar field.
• Strong interest in the fashion industry and e-commerce.
• Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and organized with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a diverse team.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken (German language skills are NOT required for this position).

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Previous internship or working student experience in fashion, retail, or e-commerce.
• Familiarity with merchandising software or analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SAP, Tableau).
• Understanding of key merchandising KPIs and retail metrics.
• Experience with product data management systems.
