We are seeking a diligent and motivated Working Student to join our Compliance team in Gossau. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our compliance monitoring activities, ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for a student to gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry, particularly in the critical area of regulatory compliance. You will work alongside experienced professionals, contributing to our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a proactive approach to learning, with an excellent command of English. You will be instrumental in supporting our efforts to uphold regulatory standards and protect the firm’s reputation.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist with the daily monitoring of transactions and communications for potential compliance breaches.
• Support the preparation of compliance reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct research on regulatory changes, industry best practices, and their impact on our operations.
• Maintain and update compliance records and databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with various internal departments, including Legal and Risk, to gather necessary information and facilitate compliance initiatives.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of compliance monitoring tools and processes.
• Provide administrative support to the Compliance team as needed, including scheduling and material preparation.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program, preferably in Law, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (C1/C2 level).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• High level of integrity, discretion, and ethical conduct.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Previous experience (e.g., internship, part-time job) in a financial services or compliance-related role.
• Familiarity with financial regulations (e.g., AML, KYC, GDPR) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of German or any other Swiss national language is beneficial but not required for this English-speaking role.
• Demonstrated interest in regulatory compliance and financial markets.
