Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a talented and motivated English Speaking Computer Vision Specialist to join our innovative R&D team in Krefeld, Germany. This hybrid role requires a strong background in computer vision principles, machine learning, and practical experience with relevant tools and libraries. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing advanced computer vision algorithms for various industrial applications, contributing to the next generation of smart systems and automation solutions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively in English.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Design, develop, and implement computer vision algorithms for object detection, tracking, recognition, and 3D reconstruction.
• Integrate computer vision solutions into existing software and hardware systems.
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer vision and machine learning.
• Evaluate and optimize algorithm performance, ensuring robustness and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, data scientists, and hardware engineers.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation of developed solutions.
• Contribute to the full development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance.
• Communicate technical findings and project progress to stakeholders.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proficiency in Python and/or C++ programming.
• Strong understanding of computer vision fundamentals (e.g., image processing, feature extraction, deep learning for vision).
• Experience with computer vision libraries such as OpenCV, scikit-image.
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras).
• Experience with machine learning techniques and model training.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Fluent spoken and written English communication skills.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for deploying AI/ML models.
• Knowledge of 3D vision, point cloud processing, or augmented reality technologies.
• Experience with industrial automation or robotics applications.
• German language skills (B1 or higher) are a plus.
