We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Crane Operator to join our dynamic construction team in Lausanne. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes and heavy machinery on construction sites, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials and equipment. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting our project timelines and maintaining the highest safety standards.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Operate various types of cranes (e.g., tower cranes, mobile cranes, overhead cranes) safely and efficiently.
• Inspect cranes and heavy machinery for mechanical and safety issues before and after operation.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, signalers, and other team members to ensure precise material placement.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and minor repairs on equipment.
• Maintain clear communication with ground personnel using hand signals, radios, or other communication devices.
• Record daily operational logs and report any equipment malfunctions or safety incidents.
• Assist with rigging and unrigging loads as required.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proven experience operating heavy machinery and various types of cranes.
• Valid crane operator certification/license relevant to Switzerland.
• Strong understanding of crane operations, load charts, and safety protocols.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Proficiency in spoken and written French (or willingness to learn).

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Experience with hydraulic and lattice boom cranes.
• Knowledge of multiple crane types and configurations.
• Fluency in additional languages such as German or English.
• First Aid certification.
• Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects.
