We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled English Speaking Health Economics Specialist to join our dynamic team in Graz, Austria. This hybrid role is crucial for generating and communicating evidence that demonstrates the value of our innovative pharmaceutical products to healthcare systems, payers, and patients. You will be instrumental in developing economic models, analyzing real-world data, and preparing high-quality health economic dossiers to support market access and reimbursement strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) principles, excellent analytical capabilities, and superb communication skills.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Design, develop, and adapt health economic models (e.g., cost-effectiveness, budget impact) to support product value propositions.
• Conduct systematic literature reviews and meta-analyses to gather evidence for economic evaluations.
• Analyze real-world data and clinical trial data to generate relevant health economic insights.
• Prepare comprehensive health economic dossiers, value stories, and publications for submission to reimbursement bodies and scientific journals.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with market access, medical affairs, commercial, and clinical development teams.
• Provide expert advice on health economics and outcomes research methodologies to internal stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of new developments in health economics methodologies, payer requirements, and healthcare policy.
• Communicate complex health economic concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
• Contribute to strategic planning for evidence generation and dissemination.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Master's or PhD degree in Health Economics, Economics, Public Health, Epidemiology, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in health economics and outcomes research, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry or a consultancy.
• Proficiency in developing and adapting health economic models (e.g., Excel-based models).
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including experience with statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, Stata).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare high-quality scientific reports, dossiers, and presentations.
• Understanding of market access and reimbursement processes in key European markets.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Experience with specific disease areas relevant to Novartis's portfolio.
• Familiarity with HTA (Health Technology Assessment) requirements and processes in Austria or Germany.
• Proficiency in German is a plus, but not required.
• Experience with real-world evidence (RWE) studies and big data analysis.
• Prior experience working in a global or regional role within a matrix organization.
