We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical intern to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team at our Corporate Headquarters in Vienna. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis within a dynamic international banking environment. You will support senior analysts in various projects, contributing to key financial insights that drive strategic decisions across Erste Group.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans.
• Support the analysis of financial performance against budget and prior periods, identifying key variances and trends.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for management, highlighting performance metrics and strategic implications.
• Contribute to ad-hoc financial modeling and analysis projects, providing data-driven insights.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and ensure data accuracy.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives within the FP&A function.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
